Angela Francis
Green economic policy expert
Angela began her career as an energy industry accountant before becoming an economist focused on low-carbon growth. She has worked across the UK, Europe, and the Caribbean – where she was Regional Economist and Climate Attaché for the FCO. For the past decade, she has brought that expertise to the NGO sector at Green Alliance and WWF UK, as Chief Economist and then Chief Advisor on Economics. Now Director of Policy Solutions, Angela leads the work of the climate, finance, economics, production, and consumption teams on net zero and nature restoration. Angela sits on the CCC Advisory Group on the Economics of Climate Risk and Adaptation, and her TED talk on the green economy has over 1.7 million views.
