A warning is not alarmist just because the danger it describes is alarming. The film’s experts used widely accepted peer-reviewed science and credible sources such as the Climate Change Committee, the Ministry of Defence, the UK Health Security Agency and the World Meteorological Organization.

The NEB is supported by leading science institutions including the Royal Meteorological Society and the Royal Society of Biology.

The aim is not to frighten people but to inform them. Downplaying these risks would be no more responsible than exaggerating them.
